Distance by Road to the Showroom

Approximate distances by road. Coming by metro is handy if you plan to drive a car home: you won’t have two cars to bring back.
Fitting a Bigger Car into an Older Neighbourhood
Vijayanagar and Chandra Layout are older and denser than the newer layouts to the west. Plots are smaller, cross-roads narrower, and many houses have a gate built for a hatchback twenty years ago. That matters when the family wants something bigger.
- Measure before you shop: gate width, parking length and any ramp. A full-size SUV can be well over 1.8 m wide before you open a door.
- Turning circle matters more than length in a dead-end cross-road. Try a three-point turn on your own street during the test drive.
- Ground clearance helps with steep ramps and speed breakers, but you don’t need a full SUV for that; many compact SUVs and crossovers are enough.
- Reverse camera and parking sensors are worth more here than a sunroof.
